  1. Oversee administrative tasks: The Administrative Care Partner will be responsible for managing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with other departments within UCLA Health.
  2. Provide compassionate patient care: The primary responsibility of the Administrative Care Partner is to provide compassionate care to patients in the GI Lab PACU. This includes assisting with patient admissions, monitoring patient progress, and addressing any concerns or needs.
  3. Ensure smooth operation of GI Lab: The Administrative Care Partner will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the GI Lab. This includes coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  4. Uphold UCLA Health standards: The Administrative Care Partner will be expected to uphold the high standards of UCLA Health in terms of patient care, professionalism, and ethical practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Role, But Preference May Be Given To Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration Or Nursing. Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Particularly In A Gi Lab Or Pacu, Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Administrative Care Partner, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Medical Staff. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Others.

  • Proficiency In Medical Terminology And Technology: A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems Is A Must For This Role. Familiarity With Gi Lab Or Pacu-Specific Technology And Equipment Is Also Preferred.

  • Organizational And Multitasking Abilities: The Gi Lab Pacu At Ucla Health Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, Requiring The Administrative Care Partner To Effectively Multitask And Manage Multiple Responsibilities. Excellent Organizational Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Compassion And Empathy: As A Part Of The Ucla Health Team, The Administrative Care Partner Must Demonstrate Compassion, Empathy, And Sensitivity Towards Patients And Their Families. The Ability To Provide Emotional Support And Maintain A Calm Demeanor In Stressful Situations Is Essential.
