  1. Provide administrative support to the Comprehensive & Urgent Ophthalmology team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  2. Ensure the smooth operation of the clinic by maintaining office supplies, managing patient records, and handling patient inquiries.
  3. Assist physicians and staff with special projects and tasks as needed.
  4. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and colleagues to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  6. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing urgent tasks and meeting deadlines.
  7. Collaborate with other administrative assistants and team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  8. Use excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and files.
  9. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite And Electronic Medical Record Systems.

  • A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Administrative Assistant In A Healthcare Setting, With Experience In Ophthalmology Preferred.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients, Physicians, And Other Staff Members.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Ophthalmology, Including Scheduling Appointments, Verifying Insurance, And Maintaining Patient Records.
