Laboratory Assistant

UCI Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures. You must have the ability to think critically and apply problem-solving skills in order to support the laboratory team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, have a strong attention to detail and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and can bring a positive, team-oriented approach to our laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in a medical laboratory setting; and familiarity with safety practices in the laboratory. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate good computer skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. A valid driver's license may also be required.
