Job Description

The UCI Health Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) will play a vital role on our patient care team. We are seeking an experienced CPT who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, comfortable with juggling multiple tasks, and excited to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a current CPT certification. The CPT will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens from patients, accurately and efficiently. In addition, the CPT will assist with the preparation of blood and other specimens for laboratory analysis, perform quality control procedures, and maintain accurate records. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
