- Assist with patient check-in and registration processes.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient use.
- Assist healthcare providers with various procedures and treatments.
- Administer basic first aid and assist with minor wound care.
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns, escalating to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills Required For The Job.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna): Many Urgent Care Facilities Prefer Candidates With Certification As A Cma Or Cna. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed A Formal Training Program And Has The Necessary Skills To Perform Basic Medical Procedures And Tasks.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Urgent Care Technicians Are Required To Provide Basic Life Support In Emergency Situations. Possessing A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross Is A Must For This Job.
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Having Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Highly Valued For This Position. It Indicates That The Candidate Is Familiar With Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Can Handle The Fast-Paced Environment Of An Urgent Care Facility.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Urgent Care Technician, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Delivering High-Quality Patient Care And Maintaining A Positive Work Environment.
