  1. Perform ultrasound exams on patients according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
  4. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  5. Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess patient condition during procedures, and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physician.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
  16. Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed.
  17. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  18. Maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with colleagues and other departments.
  19. Participate in on-call duties as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Or Degree In Ultrasound Technology.

  • Current Registration With The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Sonographer In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Proficiency In Various Ultrasound Modalities, Including Abdominal, Vascular, Obstetric, And Cardiac.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.
