- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing rehabilitation therapy.
- Assist in the implementation of therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Handle and maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of therapy sessions.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Continuously educate oneself on the latest rehabilitation techniques and technology.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Document and report any changes or concerns in patient progress to the supervising therapist.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold the values and mission of UCHealth in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
Associate's Degree In A Related Field Such As Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Or Rehabilitation Therapy.
Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably With Patients Who Have Undergone Surgery Or Are Recovering From Injuries.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Techniques And Equipment, Including How To Assist Patients With Mobility Exercises And Daily Activities.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Ensuring Patient Safety.
