- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care for patients with complex neurological and traumatic injuries.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Relevant Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Typically Required For A Registered Nurse Position In The Neuro Trauma Icu At Uchealth. This Degree Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Comprehensive Training In Patient Care, Critical Thinking, And Leadership Skills.
Active Rn License: A Valid And Active Registered Nurse License Is A Must For This Position. This License Is Obtained After Passing The National Council Licensure Examination (Nclex) And Ensures That The Candidate Is Qualified To Practice As A Nurse In The State Of Colorado.
Previous Experience In Critical Care Or Neuro Trauma: Experience In Critical Care And Neuro Trauma Units Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Experience Allows The Candidate To Handle The Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Of The Neuro Trauma Icu At Uchealth.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certification: As A Specialized Unit, The Neuro Trauma Icu Requires Nurses To Have Acls Certification. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle Cardiac Emergencies And Advanced Life Support Techniques, Which May Be Necessary In This Unit.
