- Perform urgent care procedures and treatments on patients, including but not limited to wound care, minor surgical procedures, and administering medications.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay current on industry developments and advancements in urgent care medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Serve as a patient advocate and uphold the mission and values of UCHealth in all aspects of the job.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Completion Of An Accredited Physician Assistant Program
Current Pa License And Certification In The State Of Colorado
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Urgent Care Setting
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Urgent Care Procedures And Treatments
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Patient Care And Collaboration With Other Healthcare Professionals.
