
Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

- Provide high-quality patient care: The Physician Assistant will be responsible for delivering compassionate and skilled care to patients in the neurosurgery department at UCHealth.
- Collaborate with the neurosurgery team: The Physician Assistant will work closely with the neurosurgeons, nurses, and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures: The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the neurosurgeons.
- Conduct patient assessments: The Physician Assistant will assess patients' medical histories, perform physical exams, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.

Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Bachelor's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Neurosurgery Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Medical Center.
A Strong Understanding Of Neurosurgical Procedures, Treatments, And Protocols, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Diagnostic And Imaging Tools.
