- Assist pharmacists in providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to patients and the community.
- Accurately and efficiently fill prescription orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of medications in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
- Prepare and process insurance claims and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with new medications, regulations, and industry developments to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Exhibit a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being and satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required to further develop skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the pharmacy manager or pharmacist-in-charge.
Completion Of An Accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
Certification As A Pharmacy Technician Through The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Retail Setting.
Knowledge Of Medication Names, Dosages, And Interactions.
Proficient In Pharmacy Software Systems And Computer Skills For Data Entry And Record Keeping.
