- Accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain inventory and stock of medications, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of medications and supplies.
- Perform data entry and maintain patient records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding medication-related inquiries and issues.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient care, addressing any concerns or questions in a timely and professional manner.

- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist or management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Technician At Uchealth Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Certification: Candidates Must Be Certified Through The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience: Previous Experience As A Pharmacy Technician, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: Candidates Must Have A Solid Understanding Of Different Medications, Their Uses, And Potential Side Effects.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Pharmacy Technician At Uchealth Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Pharmacists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
