- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of pharmacy operations and systems within the organization.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and IT teams to identify and prioritize system improvement opportunities.
- Analyze data and workflows to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacy business systems, providing guidance and support to end-users.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new pharmacy systems and updates to existing systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of system changes to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
- Train pharmacy staff on system functionality and updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor system performance and identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in pharmacy business systems.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and IT teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve system processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on system changes and gather feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all privacy policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Or Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Business Systems Analyst Role.
Strong Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Management Systems, Inventory Management, And Regulatory Requirements.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting, With Experience Using Relevant Software And Tools.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
