Perioperative Assistant

1. Assist surgical team: The primary responsibility of a Perioperative Assistant is to assist the surgical team throughout all stages of the perioperative process. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
2. Maintain a clean and safe environment: It is the responsibility of the Perioperative Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room. This includes disinfecting equipment and surfaces, disposing of medical waste properly, and following infection control protocols.
