- Work closely with nursing and medical staff to coordinate patient transportation needs and ensure timely movement.
- Maintain accurate records of patient transports and report any issues or concerns to supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with patient transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers, ensuring proper body mechanics and techniques are used.
- Keep patient transportation equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition during transport to appropriate medical staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Attend training and education sessions as required to stay updated on hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
