Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Care Assistant in our Rehabilitation department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients as they recover and rehabilitate.   1. Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse or other healthcare professional.
  2. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
  3. Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
  4. Help patients with mobility and positioning, including transferring and ambulating.
  5. Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  6. Keep patient rooms clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their stay.
  10. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  11. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and department processes.
  12. Continuously develop and maintain knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
  13. Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Assist with other duties as assigned by the nursing team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License Or Equivalent Certification In Patient Care.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Patient Care Assistant In A Rehabilitation Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Medical Terminology And Procedures.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Provide Compassionate And Patient-Centered Care.
