
Patient Care Assistant - Neuro ICU

- Provide exceptional care to patients in the Neuro ICU department.
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility.
- Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or unit manager.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Neuro Icu Or Critical Care Unit.
Current Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma).
Knowledge And Understanding Of Basic Medical Terminology, Patient Care Procedures, And Infection Control Protocols.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Highly Stressful Environment, While Maintaining A Positive And Compassionate Attitude Towards Patients And Their Families.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
