
Patient Care Assistant - Mother Baby

- Provide compassionate and personalized care to new mothers and their babies.
- Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to support and assist in patient care.
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, feeding, and changing diapers for both mother and baby.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and their families.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and education to new mothers on postpartum care and newborn care.
- Assist with breastfeeding support and techniques.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Similar Certification In Patient Care.
Previous Experience Working In A Mother Baby Unit Or Similar Postpartum Care Setting.
Knowledge Of Maternal And Newborn Care, Including Breastfeeding Support And Postpartum Recovery.
Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Team Members.
