Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient and Visitor Liaison. As a liaison, you will serve as a vital connection between our patients, their families, and our healthcare providers. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong sense of empathy and understanding. If you possess these qualities and have a passion for helping others, we would love to have you join our team.

  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.
  3. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
  4. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers, effectively communicating information and addressing any concerns or issues.
  5. Ensure patients and visitors are informed and updated on wait times, appointment schedules, and any other necessary information.
  6. Assist with patient registration and check-in processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Provide support and assistance to patients and visitors with special needs or accommodations.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to address and resolve any patient or visitor complaints or issues.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the patient and visitor experience by seeking and implementing feedback and suggestions.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Patient And Visitor Liaison Should Possess Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Visitors From Diverse Backgrounds.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Essential For This Position As The Patient And Visitor Liaison Will Be Responsible For Addressing And Resolving Any Concerns Or Complaints From Patients And Visitors.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems: A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Systems And Processes Is Necessary For This Role To Assist Patients And Visitors With Navigating Through The Hospital And Accessing Resources.
