  1. Accurately register patients for appointments and procedures using electronic medical records system.
  2. Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, taking into account physician availability and patient preferences.
  3. Obtain necessary insurance and demographic information from patients to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  7. Continuously monitor and improve registration and scheduling processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless experience.
  9. Train and mentor new staff members and provide ongoing support and guidance to team members.
  10. Keep up-to-date with insurance policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  12. Demonstrate a positive attitude and foster a team-oriented work culture.
  13. Adhere to all UCHealth policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
  14. Participate in ongoing education and training to continuously improve job knowledge and skills.
  15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Access Or Registration Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Insurance Verification, Authorizations, And Billing Processes.

  • Excellent Communication, Customer Service, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records And Patient Registration Systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field Preferred.
