  1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from patients and their families.
  3. Schedule appointments, collect patient information, and verify insurance coverage to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  5. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow.
  6. Assist patients with the completion of necessary forms and paperwork.
  7. Communicate with patients and their families regarding appointment reminders and any necessary follow-up care.
  8. Handle financial transactions, including collecting co-pays and processing payments.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
  11. Attend training and educational sessions to stay up-to-date on clinic policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  13. Display compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, and provide emotional support as needed.
  14. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  15. Adhere to the mission and values of UCHealth and promote a culture of excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Access Or Registration Role.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems, Such As Epic.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills And Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients And Healthcare Providers.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
