- Perform high-quality photography of the eye and its related structures for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
- Utilize technical skills and knowledge to capture accurate and detailed images.
- Adhere to strict protocols and safety measures during all procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ophthalmic imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient positioning and image interpretation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all images and related patient information.
- Educate patients on the imaging process and provide clear instructions for proper preparation.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to ophthalmic photography techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Handle and document any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
Bachelor's Degree In Photography, Medical Imaging, Or A Related Field.
Certified Ophthalmic Photographer (Cop) By The American Society Of Ophthalmic Photographers (Asop).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Ophthalmic Photography, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Ophthalmic Equipment And Imaging Techniques, Including Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiography, And Optical Coherence Tomography.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Ophthalmologists, Technicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
