- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all.
- Use your expertise in nutrition to educate and advise patients and staff on healthy dietary choices and lifestyle habits.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized nutrition plans for patients with specific dietary needs.
- Monitor and track patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition, and incorporate new information into your practice.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and preparing meals for patients.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and service for patients with special dietary needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute to the overall success of the department.
- Support and promote UCHealth's mission to provide exceptional care and improve the lives of those we serve.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and make suggestions for process enhancements.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Supervisor or other healthcare team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Credential Or Eligibility For Registration.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Center.
Knowledge Of Nutrition Assessment And Counseling, As Well As Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Electronic Medical Records.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
