1. Provide excellent customer service by warmly welcoming patients and their families to UCHealth and assisting them with any questions or concerns.
2. Help patients maintain a healthy lifestyle by providing guidance and education on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
3. Collaborate with the nutrition team to develop and implement patient-specific nutrition plans based on dietary restrictions and medical conditions.
4. Monitor patients' food intake and provide support and encouragement to ensure they are following their nutrition plan.
5. Assist with meal preparation and delivery, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines and delivered to patients in a timely manner.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and restocking nutrition supplies and equipment.
7. Document patients' food intake and any changes in their nutritional status, and communicate this information to the nutrition team.
8. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns regarding their nutrition plan, and escalate any issues to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
9. Act as a liaison between patients and the nutrition team, ensuring clear and effective communication and coordination of care.
10. Stay up-to-date on current nutrition research and trends to continually improve patient care and support.
11. Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, as well as HIPAA guidelines, to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
12. Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay informed of best practices and new developments in the field of nutrition.
13. Represent UCHealth in a professional and positive manner at all times, both with patients and with colleagues.
14. Other duties as assigned by the nutrition team or healthcare management.
