Advanced Practice Nursing Degree: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree With A Specialization In Hospital Medicine.
Certification And Licensure: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (Np) License In The State Of Colorado, Along With National Certification As A Nurse Practitioner In Hospital Medicine.
Experience In Hospital Medicine: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In A Hospital Setting, With A Focus On Adult Acute Care Or Internal Medicine, Is Preferred.
Strong Clinical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Acute And Chronic Medical Conditions, As Well As Experience In Managing Complex And Critically Ill Patients.
Team Player: As A Member Of The Uchealth Hospital Medicine Team, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate Effectively With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
