  1. Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the healthcare facility.
  2. Assist patients with checking in and completing necessary paperwork.
  3. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
  4. Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies.
  5. Take and record vital signs and other patient information accurately.
  6. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
  7. Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
  8. Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  10. Coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery.
  11. Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
  12. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  13. Assist with managing medical equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly sterilized and stocked.
  14. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance patient care.
  16. Attend training and educational sessions to maintain and enhance medical knowledge and skills.
  17. Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Medical Assistant Job At Uchealth Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As Math, Science, And Communication.
