In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Behavioral Health unit, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered to our patients.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health department, including managing staff schedules, patient flow, and resource allocation.
  2. Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and services in accordance with UCHealth standards and best practices.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  4. Monitor and assess the performance of staff, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care, treatments, and progress.
  7. Manage department budget and resources, ensuring efficient and effective use of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in behavioral health, to continuously improve the department's operations and services.
  9. Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development opportunities for staff.
  11. Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements.
  12. Represent UCHealth at community events and initiatives, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and respect for all individuals.
  14. Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, and onboard new staff members, ensuring a diverse and qualified team.
  15. Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for staff, addressing any performance or behavior issues in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Behavioral Health Or Related Field, Such As Psychology Or Social Work.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Behavioral Health Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Various Behavioral Health Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Program Development, And Quality Improvement Initiatives In A Healthcare Setting.
