  1. Conduct mammography exams on patients, including positioning and operating imaging equipment.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of exams and patient information.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  5. Monitor and evaluate image quality to ensure high standards are met.
  6. Educate patients on exams and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
  8. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Maintain knowledge of current trends and advancements in mammography technology.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
  12. Provide exceptional patient care and uphold the organization's mission and values.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
  14. Attend trainings and conferences to stay updated on industry best practices.
  15. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  16. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  17. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  18. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  19. Provide support and guidance to less experienced technologists.
  20. Display a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Mammography Technologist Must Hold A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mammography.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Mammography Technologist Is Required, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Mammography Equipment And Be Able To Perform Routine Maintenance And Troubleshoot Technical Issues.

  • Patient Care Skills: Mammography Technologists Must Have Excellent Patient Care Skills, Including The Ability To Explain Procedures, Answer Questions, And Provide A Comfortable And Reassuring Environment For Patients During The Screening Process.

  • Teamwork And Communication: The Candidate Should Have Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Radiologists, Nurses, And Support Staff, To Ensure Efficient And Effective Patient Care.
