Hold Current Certification As A Paramedic: The Flight Paramedic Must Be A Licensed And Certified Paramedic In The State Of Colorado.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Paramedic: Uchealth Requires Flight Paramedics To Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Paramedic In A High-Volume, Fast-Paced Emergency Setting.
Current Certifications In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals): The Flight Paramedic Must Hold Current Certifications In Acls And Pals To Provide Advanced Life Support During Air Transport.
Demonstrated Knowledge And Experience In Critical Care And Trauma Care: Uchealth Requires Flight Paramedics To Have A Strong Understanding Of Critical Care And Trauma Care Principles, As They Will Be Providing Treatment During Critical And Emergency Situations.
Ability To Obtain And Maintain Certifications In Advanced Trauma Life Support (Atls) And Prehospital Trauma Life Support (Phtls): The Flight Paramedic Must Be Able To Obtain And Maintain Certifications In Atls And Phtls To Provide Optimal Care To Patients During Air Transport.
