  1. Respond to medical emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Provide immediate medical treatment and interventions to individuals in emergency situations.
  3. Perform basic life support procedures such as CPR and administering oxygen.
  4. Assess the condition of patients and accurately record and report vital signs and other pertinent information.
  5. Transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their safety and comfort.
  6. Maintain and clean equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
  7. Collaborate with other emergency personnel, such as paramedics and firefighters, to provide coordinated care.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Remain updated on current emergency medical protocols and procedures.
  10. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during stressful situations.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Keep accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  14. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized emergency services department.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and customer service to all patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Emt Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Emt Certification From The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt) Or The State Of Colorado.

  • Prior Experience In Emergency Services: A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Emt In An Emergency Medical Services (Ems) Setting Is Required.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association (Aha) Or The Red Cross.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Coworkers, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial In This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: Emts Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Patients And Equipment. They Must Also Have The Stamina To Work Long Shifts And Handle Physically Demanding Tasks.
