- Respond to medical emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide immediate medical treatment and interventions to individuals in emergency situations.
- Perform basic life support procedures such as CPR and administering oxygen.
- Assess the condition of patients and accurately record and report vital signs and other pertinent information.
- Transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain and clean equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other emergency personnel, such as paramedics and firefighters, to provide coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Remain updated on current emergency medical protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during stressful situations.
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized emergency services department.

Current Emt Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Emt Certification From The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt) Or The State Of Colorado.
Prior Experience In Emergency Services: A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Emt In An Emergency Medical Services (Ems) Setting Is Required.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association (Aha) Or The Red Cross.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Coworkers, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial In This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Emts Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Patients And Equipment. They Must Also Have The Stamina To Work Long Shifts And Handle Physically Demanding Tasks.
