- Provide exceptional care to patients in emergency situations.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide critical care to patients in a timely manner.
- Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate treatment according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care for patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Accurately document patient information, including treatments, medications, and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide updates and educate on treatment plans.
- Remain calm and composed in high-stress and fast-paced situations.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Attend ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Report any concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service and represent UCHealth in a positive manner.
Valid Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic From A Recognized Institution.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Hospital Or Emergency Services Setting.
Proficient In Emergency Medical Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Cpr, First Aid, And Basic Life Support.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Medical Personnel.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, While Remaining Calm And Focused Under Pressure.
