State Certification: Applicants Must Have A Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) From The State Of Colorado Or Be Eligible To Obtain One Within 60 Days Of Hire.
Cpr Certification: All Candidates Must Possess A Current Cpr Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross.
High School Diploma Or Ged: A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For All Emt Positions At Uchealth.
Valid Driver's License: Candidates Must Have A Valid Driver's License And A Good Driving Record To Operate Emergency Vehicles.
Physical Fitness: Emts Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Carry Patients And Equipment, As Well As Perform Strenuous Tasks In Various Weather Conditions. A Pre-Employment Physical Exam May Be Required.
