Job Description

As a Department Administrative Support member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our team.   1. Provide administrative support to the department by performing various clerical tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining department records.
  2. Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and other events for department staff.
  3. Maintain organization of department files and documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  5. Prepare and distribute departmental correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  6. Help coordinate and facilitate departmental projects and initiatives.
  7. Manage department inventory and supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
  8. Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including completing necessary paperwork and providing orientation.
  9. Serve as a point of contact for external inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
  10. Act as a liaison between the department and other departments, patients, and vendors.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Contribute to the overall success of the department by actively seeking ways to improve processes and procedures.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  14. Attend department meetings and take minutes as needed.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
