We are currently seeking a Crisis Prevention & Intervention Trainer to join our team and help us uphold our commitment to patient safety and staff well-being.As a Crisis Prevention & Intervention Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our staff on how to prevent and de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Your expertise and passion for promoting a culture of safety and compassion will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of both our patients and our staff.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in crisis prevention and intervention techniques, as well as experience in training and education. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with a diverse group of individuals.   1. Develop and deliver training programs for staff on crisis prevention and intervention techniques.
  2. Conduct thorough research and stay updated on best practices in crisis prevention and intervention.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that training programs are aligned with organizational goals and policies.
  4. Work closely with the Human Resources department to identify training needs and develop targeted training programs.
  5. Utilize a variety of training methods, such as presentations, group discussions, and role-playing, to engage and educate staff.
  6. Evaluate training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure effectiveness.
  7. Monitor and track staff participation in training programs to ensure compliance.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with outside resources and experts to enhance training programs.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on crisis prevention and intervention techniques for staff and management.
  10. Provide support and guidance to staff during crisis situations, as needed.
  11. Conduct regular safety audits and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, handouts, and visual aids.
  13. Participate in staff meetings and provide updates on training programs.
  14. Maintain accurate records of training activities and evaluations.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  16. Foster a culture of safety and compassion by promoting open communication and collaboration among staff.
  17. Continuously evaluate and improve training programs to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  18. Act as a role model for staff by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and respect for all individuals.
  19. Participate in professional development activities and stay current on industry trends and advancements.
  20. Uphold the organization's commitment to providing exceptional care to patients and creating a supportive work environment for employees.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Crisis Prevention And Intervention Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of Various Methods And Strategies For Preventing And Managing Crisis Situations, Including De-Escalation And Conflict Resolution Techniques.

  • Certification In Crisis Prevention And Intervention Training: Candidates Should Hold A Recognized Certification In Crisis Prevention And Intervention Training, Such As Cpi (Crisis Prevention Institute) Or Nci (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention).

  • Experience In Healthcare Settings: As A Trainer For Uchealth, The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Environment, Preferably In A Crisis Management Role. This Will Allow Them To Better Understand The Unique Challenges And Dynamics Of Healthcare Settings.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: The Role Of A Trainer Requires Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Deliver Training Sessions To A Diverse Audience. The Candidate Should Be Able To Articulate Complex Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Ability To Adapt To Different Learning Styles: A Successful Trainer Should Be Able To Adapt Their Teaching Style To Accommodate Different Learning Styles And Needs, Including Visual, Auditory, And Kinesthetic Learners. They Should Also Be Able To Modify Their Approach Based On The Audience's Level Of Experience And Background.
