Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator of Environmental Health and Safety to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing safety programs and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures to ensure the well-being of staff and patients.
  2. Monitor and evaluate existing safety protocols to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
  3. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  4. Coordinate safety training and education programs for staff to promote a culture of safety and increase awareness of potential risks.
  5. Collaborate with department leaders to develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and protocols.
  6. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and ensure compliance.
  8. Serve as a resource and advisor to staff on all matters related to environmental health and safety.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to stay informed of industry best practices and standards.
  10. Communicate safety concerns and recommendations to management and work collaboratively to address any issues.
  11. Manage and maintain safety records and reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  12. Stay current on emerging safety trends and technologies to continuously improve safety practices and procedures.
  13. Conduct regular safety meetings and trainings to promote a culture of safety and foster open communication.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to safety across the organization.
  15. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety Management.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety.

  • Experience Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Staff On Safety Procedures And Protocols.
