  1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their healthcare needs.
  2. Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Gather and verify patient information, including personal and insurance information.
  4. Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate scheduling.
  5. Educate patients on services, procedures, and policies of the healthcare organization.
  6. Provide accurate and detailed information regarding insurance coverage, billing, and payment options.
  7. Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiency, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  9. Collaborate with other departments within the healthcare organization to ensure seamless patient care.
  10. Keep accurate records of patient interactions, including phone calls and appointments.
  11. Identify and report any issues or trends in patient inquiries to improve overall customer service.
  12. Attend training and development programs to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all company and industry regulations and guidelines.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
