- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders in patients.
- Interpret test results and make appropriate recommendations for treatment and management.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and treatment options.
- Administer and fit hearing aids and other assistive listening devices as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay updated on current audiology practices and technologies.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of audiology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Adhere to all UCHealth policies and procedures.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Audiology From An Accredited University.
Current State License To Practice Audiology.
Certification From The American Board Of Audiology (Aba) Or The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting.
Knowledge Of Diagnostic And Rehabilitative Audiology Services, Including Hearing Aid Dispensing, Cochlear Implants, And Vestibular Evaluations.
