
Behavioral Health Clinical Co-Responder

In this role, you will work alongside law enforcement and emergency responders to provide immediate support and assistance to individuals experiencing mental health crises. - Collaborate and work closely with law enforcement and emergency responders to provide immediate support and assistance to individuals experiencing mental health crises
- Utilize a strong understanding of mental health and crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations and provide appropriate care and resources
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals in crisis, utilizing evidence-based practices and resources
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all interactions and interventions
- Continuously assess and monitor the safety and well-being of individuals in crisis, taking appropriate action as needed
- Serve as a liaison between law enforcement, emergency responders, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for individuals in crisis
- Participate in regular trainings and professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge related to behavioral health and crisis intervention
- Demonstrate a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to all individuals, promoting a safe and supportive environment for those in crisis
- Act as an advocate for individuals and their families, promoting access to necessary resources and services
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within UCHealth, supporting the organization's mission and values.
Master's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Behavioral Health Or Crisis Intervention.
Valid State Licensure Or Certification As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Or Licensed Psychologist (Lp).
Extensive Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders, Crisis Intervention Techniques, And Trauma-Informed Care.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
