- Evaluate and treat athletes with a variety of injuries and conditions, utilizing best practices in sports medicine.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for athletes to help them recover from injuries and reach their full potential.
- Work closely with coaches, parents, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for athletes.
- Educate athletes and their families on injury prevention, proper nutrition, and overall wellness to promote long-term health and success in sports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each athlete and communicate progress and any concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Keep abreast of current research and advancements in sports medicine, and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
- Collaborate with other Athletic Trainers and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to athletes in the community.
- Act as a liaison between athletes, coaches, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to athlete care.
- Provide emergency care and management of acute injuries on the field or court.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote the role of Athletic Trainers in sports medicine and injury prevention.
Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification By The National Athletic Trainers' Association Board Of Certification (Nataboc).
Valid State License To Practice Athletic Training.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Athletic Trainer, Preferably In A Community Or School Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
