Trade & Processing Specialist
Support the Real Estate Finance desk on pre-closing residential mortgage originations and risk management for balance sheet collateral. Facilitate and ensure all information required has been validated prior to origination as it pertains to analysis of collateral type for pricing ability, wire instructions verification, monitoring of credit limits. Collaborate with our payment utility team and compliance to provide required anti-money laundering/fraud reporting. Investigate differences between trade representation and collateral documents, loan confirmations, develop systemic improvements, troubleshooting match off issues. Analyze collateral status is reviewed for risk control and continued communication with clients, custodian, credit risk control, finance and other stakeholders is essential.
Technical aptitude with a drive to make processes more efficient and controls more robust through optimization and new technology
0-3 years of experience in finance and/or operations, residential mortgage loans experience is a plus
