- Design and implement highly efficient and scalable DevOps infrastructure and processes for UBS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance, availability, and reliability of our systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks in the DevOps pipeline, and implement solutions to resolve them.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of our DevOps processes, tools, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, and proactively introduce new tools and techniques to enhance our processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, and provide technical expertise and support to other teams within the organization.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that all DevOps processes and infrastructure meet the necessary standards and regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support and troubleshoot any production issues.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all DevOps processes and infrastructure.
- Adhere to UBS's policies, procedures, and standards, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Take ownership of projects and tasks and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert in DevOps and provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed.
Extensive Experience In Devops: The Senior Devops Engineer Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Devops Role, With A Strong Understanding Of Devops Principles, Practices, And Tools.
Proficiency In Cloud Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Working Experience With Cloud Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Also Have Experience With Infrastructure Automation Tools Like Terraform Or Cloudformation.
Strong Coding And Scripting Skills: The Senior Devops Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Coding And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Ruby, Or Go, And Experience With Source Code Management Tools Like Git.
Knowledge Of Ci/Cd Pipelines: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ci/Cd Pipelines And Experience In Setting Up And Maintaining Automated Build, Test, And Deployment Processes.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Devops Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Devops Engineers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And Excellent Communication Abilities Are Essential For This Role. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
