  3. Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to determine the viability of new projects.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to inform decision making.
  5. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
  6. Design and execute tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of new technologies.
  7. Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for further development.
  8. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop prototypes and assist in the implementation of new technologies.
  9. Evaluate and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  10. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and contribute to the overall innovation of the company.
  11. Document and report on research findings and project progress to management and stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to project timelines and budgets, and ensure that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the research and development department.
  14. Mentor and train junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and represent the company's values and mission.

  • Advanced Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Closely Related Field Is Essential For A Research & Development Engineer At Ubs. This Demonstrates A Solid Foundation In Technical Knowledge And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Coding Languages: As A Research & Development Engineer At Ubs, It Is Crucial To Have A Strong Understanding Of Programming And Coding Languages Such As C++, Java, And Python. This Will Allow For The Development And Implementation Of Innovative Solutions.

  • Experience In Research And Development: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Research And Development, Preferably Within The Financial Or Technology Industry. This Will Ensure A Deep Understanding Of The Industry And The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Problems.
