- Maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key regulatory bodies and agencies, acting as the main point of contact for all regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements: Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulations and ensure that the company is in compliance with them at all times. This includes conducting regular reviews and audits to identify any potential compliance issues and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies: Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, effectively communicating and addressing any concerns or inquiries from regulators.
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies: Work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement effective strategies for managing regulatory risk and ensuring compliance.
- Conduct regulatory research and analysis: Stay informed on the latest regulatory developments and changes, and conduct research and analysis to assess potential impact on the company.
- Monitor and report on regulatory changes: Monitor and report on changes in regulatory requirements and trends, and provide recommendations for necessary changes to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure a holistic approach to regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings: Prepare and submit necessary filings and reports to regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Train and educate employees on regulatory matters: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company in regulatory meetings and inspections: Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory inspections and audits, and represent the company in meetings with regulatory bodies.
- Stay informed on industry best practices: Stay informed on industry best practices and trends related to regulatory compliance, and make recommendations for improvement to company processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Regulatory Relations Or Compliance Within The Financial Services Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Laws, Such As Dodd-Frank Act, Mifid Ii, And Basel Iii.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Regulators, Internal Stakeholders, And External Partners.
