  1. Manage and execute trades within volatile interest rate markets.
  2. Assess market conditions and identify potential trading opportunities.
  3. Make strategic trading decisions based on market analysis and risk management.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the Rates Trading desk to develop and implement trading strategies.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and events to inform trading decisions.

  7. Proactively communicate with clients and provide updates on market conditions and trading activity.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulations to ensure compliance.
  9. Continuously monitor and manage risk exposure to protect the firm and its clients.
  10. Contribute to the development and enhancement of trading systems and processes.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as research and sales, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  12. Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior traders on the team.
  13. Maintain a thorough understanding of UBS products, services, and systems.
  14. Participate in training and development programs to continuously enhance trading skills and knowledge.
  15. Represent UBS and uphold its reputation as a leading financial institution in the market.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Trading Interest Rate Derivatives And Managing Rates Volatility.

  • Strong Understanding Of Market Dynamics And Macroeconomic Factors That Impact Interest Rates.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Risk And Generating Profits Through Interest Rate Trading Strategies.

  • Excellent Analytical And Quantitative Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Analyze And React To Market Changes.
