  1. Conduct quantitative analysis and risk monitoring for the Lombard Pillar 1 & Risk Monitoring team.
  2. Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical models to assess risk and make strategic recommendations.
  3. Develop and maintain risk management tools and systems to support decision-making processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely risk reporting.
  5. Identify potential risks and provide actionable insights to mitigate and manage them.
  6. Analyze market trends and economic factors to inform risk management strategies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management.
  8. Communicate complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner to senior management and stakeholders.
  9. Work closely with other quantitative analysts to continuously improve and enhance risk management processes.
  10. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the firm by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on quantitative analysis.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Quantitative Analyst For Lombard Pillar 1 & Risk Monitoring At Ubs Must Possess Excellent Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Work With Large Datasets, Conduct Statistical Analysis, And Develop Complex Models To Support Risk Management Decisions.

  • Experience In Financial Modeling: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience In Financial Modeling, Particularly In The Areas Of Risk Management, Capital Planning, And Regulatory Reporting. Familiarity With Market Risk, Credit Risk, And Liquidity Risk Is Also Desirable.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements Related To Risk Management, Such As Basel Iii, Ccar, And Dfast. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Stress Testing Methodologies And Capital Adequacy Calculations.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: Quantitative Analysts At Ubs Must Have A Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, Or Sql. These Skills Are Essential For Data Manipulation, Model Development, And Automation Of Reports And Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Team Collaboration Skills: As A Quantitative Analyst, The Ability To Communicate Complex Concepts Effectively To Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Team Members And Stakeholders From Different Departments To Identify And Address Risk Management Issues.
