  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of wealth management operations, including account opening and maintenance, transaction processing, and client services.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations and improve efficiency and productivity.
  3. Lead and manage a team of operations staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  4. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance and technology, to ensure compliance with regulations and efficient use of systems and processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of service delivery.
  8. Identify and address operational risks and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  9. Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  10. Communicate effectively with senior management and provide regular updates on operations and performance to inform decision-making.
  11. Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives and budget targets.
  12. Continuously assess and improve processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve the client experience.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on Canadian wealth management regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
  14. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive innovation and improve overall business performance.
  15. Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
