Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Assistant for the Municipal Institutional Sales Desk. You will provide support to a several person sales team including:

  • Open and update subaccounts and allocate trades to the proper client account
  • Working with Client Onboarding, assist in the new relationship process
  • Maintain and update sales records, account lists, and production reports
  • With Operations, work to correct trade problems promptly and accurately
  • Monitor and resolve unallocated trades
  • Maintain and distribute bond inventories, new issue information, and other data

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic understanding of fixed-income products

  • Securities Licenses required: S7

  • Experience working in a trading-desk environment is desirable
