Market Risk Officer - Equities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Market Risk Officer – Equities to join UBS’s Risk Management team. This role requires a forward-thinking and highly organized individual who can analyze and manage the risks associated with the Equities portfolio of the bank. The successful candidate will be able to provide insight into the bank’s market risk strategies, assess risk exposure, and analyze complex data sets.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Market Risk Officer role, with a thorough understanding of the financial markets and the risks associated with equities. A Bachelor's degree in a business or finance-related field is required, and a Master’s degree or professional certification is preferred. The candidate must possess experience in developing and executing strategies to reduce market risk and be comfortable with working under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.
