
Korea Client Relationship Manager, Institutional Client Coverage APAC

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our institutional clients in Korea, while also driving business growth and revenue. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients in Korea, including pension funds, insurance companies, and asset managers.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Understand and stay updated on the Korean market and industry trends, and use this knowledge to advise clients and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as investment banking and research, to deliver comprehensive solutions and services to clients.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to provide updates on market developments and promote UBS products and services.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports, including revenue forecasts and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with other Client Relationship Managers in the APAC region to share best practices and support cross-border business opportunities.
- Continuously monitor and analyze client satisfaction and feedback, and take appropriate actions to maintain and improve client relationships.
- Keep abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all activities and interactions with clients are in line with UBS policies and procedures.
- Represent UBS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's reputation and brand in the market.
- Mentor and train junior team members on client relationship management strategies and techniques.
- Proactively seek feedback and continuously develop and enhance skills and knowledge to stay competitive in the market.
Strong Understanding Of The Korean Market And Financial Landscape: The Korea Client Relationship Manager Must Possess A Deep Knowledge Of The Korean Market, Including Its Regulatory Environment, Major Players, And Trends. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Identify And Pursue Opportunities For Ubs In The Country.
Proven Track Record In Relationship Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing Relationships With Institutional Clients In Korea. This Includes Building Trust, Understanding Their Needs, And Delivering Exceptional Service To Meet Their Expectations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Client Relationship Manager Requires Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Clients, Colleagues, And Stakeholders. Fluency In Korean And English Is Essential, As Well As The Ability To Navigate Cultural Differences In A Professional Manner.
Experience In Financial Services: A Strong Background In Financial Services, Particularly In Institutional Client Coverage And/Or Investment Banking, Is Highly Desirable. This Will Provide The Candidate With A Solid Understanding Of The Products And Services Offered By Ubs And The Ability To Tailor Them To Meet The Needs Of Korean Clients.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Korea Client Relationship Manager Must Possess Strategic Thinking Skills And A Strong Business Acumen To Identify And Capitalize On Opportunities For Ubs In The Korean Market.
