  1. Develop and maintain algorithms and smart order routing (SOR) systems using Java programming language.
  2. Collaborate with team members and industry experts to design and implement innovative solutions for algorithmic trading and SOR.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends and data to continuously improve the performance and efficiency of algorithms and SOR systems.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that may arise in the algorithmic trading and SOR systems.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for algorithms and SOR systems, including code reviews and testing.
  6. Stay updated with advancements in technology and industry developments related to algorithmic trading and SOR.
  7. Work closely with other departments, such as risk management and compliance, to ensure that algorithms and SOR systems comply with regulations and company policies.
  8. Participate in regular meetings and discussions to provide updates on project progress and discuss potential improvements or changes.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on algorithmic trading and SOR systems.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize algorithms and SOR systems to enhance performance and meet client needs.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Java Programming Language: A Java Developer For Algorithmic Trading & Sor At Ubs Should Have Extensive Experience And Knowledge Of Java Programming Language. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient, Scalable And Maintainable Code Using Java.

  • Experience In Algorithmic Trading And Sor: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing Algorithmic Trading Strategies And Implementing Smart Order Routing (Sor) Systems. They Should Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Algorithms And Have A Deep Understanding Of Financial Markets.

  • Proficiency In Data Structures And Algorithms: A Java Developer For Algorithmic Trading & Sor At Ubs Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Structures And Algorithms. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data Sets And Design Efficient Algorithms To Solve Business Problems.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Systems And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Financial Markets, Trading Systems, And Regulations. They Should Be Aware Of The Latest Trends And Developments In The Industry And How They Impact Algorithmic Trading And Sor.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: Ubs Seeks Candidates With A Degree In Computer Science, Mathematics, Or A Related Field. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Computer Science Principles And Is Equipped To Handle The Complex And Dynamic Nature Of Algorithmic Trading And Sor.
